Company Overview

Fulltech Fiber Glass Corporation is founded by President Mr. Pen Tsao Chang with its first fiberglass yarn production plant in Jan. 1999, at Douliu Industrial Park, Yunlin County. After establishing the fabric plant in Jan. 2007, we successfully completed the vertical integration of fiberglass yarn and fabric. In Apr. 2008, our board of directors resolved to raise funds for building the second fiberglass yarn plant in Huwei Science Park. Commencing from Mar. 25, 2010, the new plant is able to produce 45,000 tons of fiberglass yarn annually.

To Grow and Manage the Business Sustainably

On Feb. 10, 2010, and Aug. 6, 2010, the board of directors of Fulltech made two resolutions to let Mr. Yuan-Pin Chang succeed as the general manager and also the chairman. His responsibility is to continue boosting the businesses that President Pen-Tsao Chang had transferred to him. Under Mr. Yuan-Pin Chang’s management, Fulltech has obtained great success in the fiberglass yarn and fabric business. The production capacity of fiberglass yarn for electronic use has increased to 80,000 tons a year (Assuming taking all production capacity on type G75). A similar situation has occurred to the production of fiberglass fabric, while the annual capacity also enlarges to 12,000 ten-thousand meters (Assuming taking all production capacity on type 7628). The business in the People’s Republic of China has also expanded gradually.

The Production and the Application of Fiberglass Products

The Production and the Application of Fiberglass Products Fulltech is now one of the leading companies in fiberglass yarn and fabric production in Taiwan. Our fiberglass yarns are made from a mixture of eight materials, including kaolin clay, limestone, silica sand, and colemanite. After sending to the furnace (temperature up to 1,400 °C), the mixture will liquefy, and then it will be extruded through bushings and becomes fiberglass filaments. The filament’s diameter is extremely thin, only 1/18 to 1/5 compared to human hairs (approximately 4 to 13 micrometers). Finally, 100 to 1,600 filaments will be bonded into fiberglass yarns (Please see the manufacturing of fiberglass yarns for more details). Because the manufacturing techniques are high, even by now, few firms can enter the fiberglass production industry. Fulltech’s fiberglass fabrics are woven from our fiberglass yarns after a series of chemical processing. By impregnating fiberglass fabrics with epoxy and adding copper layers, it will become the CCL (copper clad laminate), the basic component of PCB (Please see the manufacturing of fiberglass fabrics for more details). PCB is one of the fundamental units that allows people to control various electronic devices.

Our fiberglass yarn is produced by high-quality materials, and the quality of the final product is recognized and confirmed by our international buyers. After continuous research and development on the manufacturing process by years, Fulltech has expanded the product line and ensured the independence of raw materials for the fabric plant. Also, the cost is getting lower during the technological improvements. Being one of our important business goals, we always try our best to meet every need from the client by providing the most advanced and flexible custom manufacturing process. Now, we are a stable and reliable fiberglass solution provider for many CCL companies, including Taiwanese and international brands.

Being the material to strengthen and insulate PCBs, heavy yarns of fiberglass are widely used for general information products such as the motherboard of PC, TFT-LCD, and LCD TV. The main applications for fine yarns and super fine yarns are 4G smartphones, Xbox, Bluetooth earbuds, and laptops. For industrial purposes, fiberglass yarns are also used for aerospace and military equipment, fire-resistant building materials, and other products that need anti-corrosion and thermal insulation features.

With features like high tensile strength, non conductive, lightweight, non flammable, and anti corrosion, fiberglass yarns are widely used in consum er electronics and industrial materials. Fulltech’s products and their related applications are listed below.

Competitive Advantage

Our competitive advantages include:

(1)Having a strong R&D team to improve manufacturing technologies and save the possible cost for tech licensing.

(2)Having the ability for independent R&D and adjusting product portfolio. Developing various products to reduce the risk of price collapse when the electronics market contracts.

(3)Having an independent marketing and production strategy. Selling products internationally and will not be restricted by tech-origin companies.

(4)Having a vertical integration of fiberglass yarn and fabric. Products are competitive with their high quality and low cost.

Business Philosophy

Fulltech always expects our service could meet every need of clients by providing custom production processes and offering technical support and assistance from time to time. Also, we are keen to develop products that have high gross profit, like fiberglass yarns for industrial use. By these efforts, we have a higher and stabler annual revenue to reduce the possible price collapse caused by the periodical shrinking of the electronic market. In addition, the long-term investment in R&D lets Fulltech has various products, and the product quality also leads other competitors.

Our business philosophy is to achieve the goal of “highest product quality and lowest cost” in two critical ways: “manufacturing research and development” and “product innovation.” Under the core management concepts of innovation, efficiency, and sharing, Fulltech has become the leading brand of fiberglass products globally, and its product quality is also well-known internationally.
